Emsculpt® is a non-invasive procedure that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM) to stimulate muscle contractions in targeted body areas.

This stimulation helps improve the tone, strength, and definition of the abdomen, buttocks, arms, legs, and calves. It can also reduce diastasis recti, the separation of the abdominal muscles that can occur after pregnancy.

Emsculpt® is FDA-cleared and has no downtime or recovery period.

Benefits of Emsculpt®

  1. Sculpted Look: Enhance your appearance and confidence by sculpting your body and creating a more athletic look.
  2. Strengthen Muscle: Boost your workout performance and health by strengthening your core, improving your posture, and reducing back pain.
  3. Up Your Workout Game: Complement your fitness routine and diet by targeting stubborn fat and muscle areas that are hard to change with exercise alone.
  4. Long-Lasting Results: See the impact with minimal maintenance treatments.

Why Should I Choose Emsculpt® for Body Contouring?

Body contouring refers to any procedure that reshapes the body by removing excess fat, skin, or tissue. Some people may need body contouring for medical reasons, like weight loss surgery, injury, or illness.

Others seek body contouring for cosmetic reasons, like aging, pregnancy, or personal preference. Emsculpt® body contouring helps improve the appearance, function, and quality of life of people who want to find a solution to stubborn fat pockets that cannot be remedied with exercise and diet alone.

The Emsculpt® Process

  1. Pre-screening appointment: Consultation with a qualified provider who will evaluate their medical history, goals, expectations, and suitability for the treatment. The provider will also explain how the technology works, what to expect during and after the treatment, and answer any patient questions.
  2. Treatment appointment: You’ll lie on a comfortable table with one or two applicators attached to the treatment area. The applicators will deliver HIFEM pulses to the muscles, causing them to contract intensely. You’ll feel a sensation similar to an intense workout but without pain or discomfort. The treatment will last 30 minutes per area and can be done twice weekly for optimal results. Your provider will monitor you throughout the treatment and adjust the intensity level according to comfort and tolerance.
  3. Post-procedure check-in: You can resume normal activities immediately after the treatment. There is no special care or recovery time required. You might experience muscle soreness for a day or two, but this is normal. Your provider will follow up after each session and the completion of the treatment plan to assess your progress and satisfaction.
  4. Maintenance treatment: You’ll see visible results within two to four weeks after your last session and continue to improve for several weeks afterward. The results are long-lasting but not permanent. To maintain the results, you may need one or two maintenance treatments every six months or as your provider recommends.

How Long Does It Last?

The results of Emsculpt® last for six months to a year, depending on the individual’s lifestyle, diet, exercise habits, and metabolism. The muscle mass gained by the treatment can be preserved by regular physical activity and a balanced diet. Results can be maintained by avoiding weight gain and following a healthy diet.

Cost and Insurance Coverage

Treatment cost varies depending on several factors, including the provider’s location, experience, reputation, the number of areas treated, the number of sessions needed, and any discounts or promotions offered. On average, the price can range from $1,000 for a single session to $6,000 for multiple sessions.

Emsculpt® is not covered by insurance because it is considered an elective cosmetic procedure that’s not medically necessary.

Does it hurt?

While the treatment doesn’t hurt, it may cause discomfort or awkwardness due to the intensity of the muscle contractions. Some patients describe it as feeling like an intense workout.

Most patients tolerate it well and do not experience any pain during or after the treatment. The provider can adjust the intensity level according to comfort and preference.

Session Frequency

The recommended frequency of Emsculpt® sessions is two to four times weekly, depending on the patient’s goals and availability. Each session lasts for 30 minutes per area.

The typical treatment plan consists of four sessions over two weeks, but some patients may need more or fewer sessions to achieve their desired results. Your provider will customize the treatment plan according to the patient’s needs and expectations.
